Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily smooth operations of the kitchen
- Work closely with Head Chef and kitchen team
- Assist in developing recipes and determine how to present the food
- Check freshness of food and ingredients
- Communication with Front of House Team
- Ensure health and safety standard
- Assist in inventory management, including stock taking
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years’ relevant culinary experience in Japanese kitchen
- Passion for food, exceptional work ethic and dedication
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety management
- A good team player with good interpersonal skills
- Independent and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and to work efficiently under pressure
- Good spoken Cantonese & English
- Experience in fine-dining restaurants is preferred
