Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily smooth operations of the kitchen
  • Work closely with Head Chef and kitchen team
  • Assist in developing recipes and determine how to present the food
  • Check freshness of food and ingredients
  • Communication with Front of House Team
  • Ensure health and safety standard
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock taking

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ relevant culinary experience in Japanese kitchen
  • Passion for food, exceptional work ethic and dedication
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety management
  • A good team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask and to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good spoken Cantonese & English
  • Experience in fine-dining restaurants is preferred
