Responsibilities:

Assess the credit profile to evaluate the viability of the client as well as devising and implementing the account strategy of problem accounts

Handle the debt restructuring & remedial actions for classified accounts including negotiation with client/other creditors, liaise with external parties for taking legal action, liquidation of collateral and participation in bankers meeting

Collaborate with business units to formulate account strategy and to monitor whether remedial action had been taken properly and timely

Monitor the trend of problem accounts' expected credit loss and report the change in provision levels

Follow up on SFGS loan default claims and take appropriate recovery action

Participate in any other internal control initiatives / tasks
Requirements:
-
Degree holder in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines, professional qualification of ECF-CRM is preferred

At least 5-7 years of solid experience in commercial credit and risk management, special assets and credit monitoring functions in banking industry

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and banking practices on credit risk management

Experience in dealing with regulators and auditors an advantage

Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills

Self-motivated with strong risk control sense

Effective communication, interpersonal and organization skills
