Assistant Manager - IT Application Developer

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager or Team Lead, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Work under the Software Development Team for a designated solution domain
• Work closely with different department users
• Provide technical design, understand user needs and deliver overall technical solutions and recommendations for users with related platforms and services
• Responsible for SDLC-related tasks including requirements analysis, system design, development plan preparation, project specification preparation, system development, code review, system and user testing, implementation, and deployment of applications and software products
• Obtain and analyze user requirements and identify solution alternatives
• Participate in developing application system design, programming, testing, and documentation using Java, C# and VB
• Evaluate feasibility and resource requirements for system enhancement
• Provide system maintenance and support for IT applications
• Provide end-user support for information queries from users

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science / Information System or related discipline
• At least 3 years’ working experience in user and system support for Financial Institution
• In depth knowledge in Java/C#/VB
• Functional knowledge in Linux/Oracle and familiar with OCP/K8s
• Knowledge of wealth management system is an advantage
• Mature, independent and motivated with strong interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure
• Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua is a must and fair English level is expected
