Vice President (Governance & Advisory), Financial Crime Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Assist to lead the Governance & Advisory Team to provide compliance advice to business/support units on FCC related matter and new product/service offering, including overseas branches and subsidiaries
• Review and update the Bank's AML policies and procedures, provide comments on the policies, guidelines and manuals of other units of the Bank to ensure they are comply with the regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with different business units on bank-wide FCC projects
• Develop effective control and robust monitoring process, measure and identify issues of AML controls, conduct regular and ad hoc risk assessment form AML/CFT perspective, and provide management information (MI) for management review as necessary.
• Conduct trainings to concerned staff to enhance/update their FCC awareness and knowledge
• Handle ad-hoc requests from regulators and participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Law or related discipline
• Holder of ECF CAMLP and/or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) is preferred
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in banking or financial institutions with relevant exposure to AML and financial crime compliance
• Sound knowledge of FCC-related laws and regulations in relation to banking and other financial services
• Knowledge in banking operations, products and services will be an advantage 
• Knowledge in overseas requirements in respect of FCC is an advantage
• Able to handle multi-tasks independently and work under tight deadlines and pressure
• Possess strong logical and analytical skills in problem solving
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
