Assistant Director of Sales - Events & Catering

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director of Sales – Events & Catering to design efficient and effective strategies for going after the target market
  • Execute sales plan through the most efficient and effective channels and approach
  • Explore new business opportunities and maintain excellent relationship with key clients and industry partners
  • Assist on collecting and analyzing market intelligence on a regular basis 
  • Maintain intelligent client database and be able to make the best use of database to achieve targets
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superiors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the hotel industry or catering industry, preferably in reputable hotels or convention centres
  • Excellent sales-driven initiatives with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is preferable
  • Ambitious, results-oriented with strong business sense, resulted-oriented
