Accountant

Hopewell Hotel (Wanchai) Management Limited

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month end closing, review Journal Voucher, General Ledger and Balance Sheet
  • Manage expenses allocation and ensure the correctness by checking the invoices against Purchase Requisitions
  • Prepare financial statements and management schedules
  • Review fixed asset lists
  • Arrange payment and fund request, ensure having proper supporting and verification for payments before Management's approval
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit 
  • Assist in managing team performance and perform annual performance appraisal sessions
  • Assist to train, coach and develop team members and to follow up with the succession plan within the section
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors

Requirements:

  • Higher diploma or above in related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in Finance/Accounts with at least 2 years in supervisory role, preferably in hotel industry
  • Responsible, detail-minded and good communication skill
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, e.g. Excel and Word
