Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant De-risking Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Assist on implantation and execution of CDD and De-risking initiatives/ projects with an aim to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management capability enhancement, and resource allocation.
  • Responsible for triggered surveillance, KYC Renewals, remediation projects, existing client maintenance and facilitation of client exits. 
  • Conduct necessary customer outreach for the purpose of customer due diligence and risk mitigation, as well as customer handling and business opportunity identification. 
  • Manage relationship with internal stakeholders and making recommendations for department with an aim to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management capability enhancement, and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrate team activities which include people management, performance management and professional development by maintaining high quality of control measurement on data preparation, management, monitoring across the department.
  • Work closely with Line Manager to prepare daily operation accurately, promptly, and completely, and ensures smooth co-ordination with processing various business initiatives in Business Banking.
  • Ensure compliance to internal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 year’s relevant experience in banking industry
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task and manage various business initiatives simultaneously
  • Understanding knowledge in commercial banking, and good understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory requirements on corporate customers an advantage
  • Strong self-motivation, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
