Assistant Restaurant Manager - Zoku Restaurant (Japanese Cuisine)

Looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager to supervise and administer team performance and take charge of day-to-day management tasks
  • Execute assigned duties from Operations Manager, in order to fulfil operational needs
  • Monitor the efficiency of serving and order taking, ensure decent presentations of dishes
  • Visit guest tables to encourage guest engagement and satisfaction by acquiring their opinions and comments in overall experience
  • Prepare and lead daily briefings to restaurant staff in accordance with everyday situations and special arrangements during Manager’s absence, e.g. ad hoc requests or VIP visiting

Requirements: 

  • Certificate or above in Hotel and Catering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years’ related experience in hotel industry, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent in communication & interpersonal skill
  • Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and preferably Putonghua
