Reservations Manager

Hopewell Hotel (Wanchai) Management Limited

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations of the Reservations Department and oversee the daily operations
  • Manage roster and work performance of employees
  • Coordinate with Director of Revenue for room status control and maximize room revenue
  • Conduct vigilant and appropriate yield management and actively contribute towards revenue generation through effective management of the Reservations Department
  • Acts as liaison with the Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management Team to provide current and accurate information on both the internal reservations situation and the external climate with which the hotel operates
  • Control rooms inventory including room allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and blackout dates
  • Track sales programs / promotions / advertising and provide feedback as necessary to relevant departments
  • Prepare sales reports to Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor / Higher Diploma graduate, preferably in hospitality management
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in Reservations, preferably at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin & Cantonese
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, guest services, complaint handling, problem solving and coaching skills
  • Strong at yield management
