Assistant Hygiene Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all aspects of food hygiene standard are maintained to the hotel standard
  • Maintain detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for every hygiene activity and carry out close follow up until the remedial measures are properly done
  • Oversee the cleaning standard and proper functioning of food storing and delivering equipment of all outlets, kitchen and related facilities including receiving areas, corridor and staff facilities
  • Conduct compliance weekly audits / inspection of Group’s hygiene standard and documentation
  • Handle the food sampling test and investigation on potential food poisoning case and work out and drive improvement plan to uphold hygiene
  • Conduct monthly training for all food hygiene related for all the new joiners and refresher training for all the food hygiene related aspect

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years related experience, hotel background is preferred
  • Bachelor degree holder in Food Hygiene and well versed in related Food Hygiene Regulations with Hygiene Manager certification
  • Solid working experience in hotels, clubhouses or catering establishment
  • Proven record in setting up system and driving improvement for food hygiene standard
  • Able to drive other stakeholders in Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Stewarding, Housekeeping or other relevant departments to carry out corrective measures
  • Work independently and with good communication and organisation skills
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Hygiene Manager
