Quality Control Officer (QC)

Safety and Operational Risk Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal ('CCT'), Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).

The Quality Control (QC) Officer is a position assists the company in complying with food safety and quality standards through conducting routine QC check at selected processes.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine checking on incoming raw materials, semi-products and finished products throughout the production process to ensure food safety of products.
• Performing routine checking on selected processes to ensure product quality.
• Recording the data and reporting non-conformities on timely basis.
• Carrying out internal checking on completeness of food safety and quality records done by other operation departments.
• Ensuring staff grooming requirement is properly followed.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and hygiene at workplace.
• Performing data entry for analysis.
• Handling ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines
• 1 year working experience in food industry or catering is preferred (fresh graduate will also be considered).
• Basic food safety knowledge.
• Knowledge on HACCP is preferred.
• Good in Chinese and English.
• Familiar with MS Office applications.
• Immediate is an advantage.
