POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for leading all medical activities to support business in Hong Kong. You must be able to work independently and make critical decisions for the best of the business. You also need to work closely with different functional teams to drive business growth and safeguard compliance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Medical Affairs
- Perform field visits in accompanying Marketing / Sales teams to handle and resolve Health Care Professionals’ (HCPs’)
- Conduct presentations of unique product features to HCPs
- Handle all product queries from local authorities, HCPs, public, etc.
- Participate in new product pre-launch and launching activities
2. HCP Education
- Manage and organize Continuing Medical Education (CME)-accredited and other training courses for HCPs
- Communicate medical / scientific information of products with HCPs
3. Staff product knowhow training and update
- Pipeline new products update and training
- Refresher sessions on strategic products
- Annual training plus refresher course of relevant company SOPs
4.Compliance
- Ensure that all interactions with HCPs and third-party vendors are carried out with high standard
- Review all promotional materials, educational materials, HCPs’ presentation slides, etc.
5. Regulatory Affairs
- Oversee new product registration and variation submission
- Monitor core product patent rights and initiate legal action sequel when necessary
6. Patient Safety
- Support the safety reporting activities
- Assure timely handling of all local patient safety activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Doctorate degree holder in Pharmaceutical Science, Medical Sciences or other health-care related fields required; candidates with master’s degree but more relevant experience will also be considered
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical field, with 6+ years of experience in medical affairs
- Previous working experience in regulatory affairs, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, and compliance is highly valued
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Highly independent and responsible
- Positive attitude, agility to drive change and growth mindset
- Strong project management skills and time management
- Attention to details, good problem-solving skills, and decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and perform well under pressure
- Cantonese speaking, excellent written and verbal English, Chinese is highly preferred but not a must
