Assistant Director of Sales / Senior Sales Manager (Proactive)

Job Summary

• Assist in developing the annual plan (such as Business Plan and Budget).
• Responsible for daily operation of Sales & Marketing Department
• Solicit business for Rooms, Catering and Food & Beverage outlets from special corporate accounts, associations, travel agencies, consulates, trade mission, DMC / PCO and airlines. To achieve revenue and meet sales budget.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies, allotments and seasonality, and participate in contract / rate negotiations to generate favorable positioning and business volume for the hotel.
• Proactively lead the Pro-active team in implementing strategies and activities to achieve the Budget and Marketing Plan goals, relating to Rooms, Catering and other hotel revenues.
• Work closely with Event Booking Centre team to ensure all opportunities are fully tapped, locally and internationally
• Establish and acquire potential accounts and conduct hotel inspections to potential customers

Requirements

• Good command of written and conversational English, Madarin  and Cantonese are required
• High Diploma in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 year of experience in large scale hotel operation or related professional area
