Job Summary
Report to Director of Engineering. The candidate is responsible for managing hotel engineering projects, implementation, and to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained.
Major Functions
- Oversee all projects within the hotel
- Lead the planning, improvement, upgrade and implementation of engineering projects
- Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure that all projects are executed seamlessly, with minimal disruption to the guests
- Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems within the hotel are operating efficiently
- Lead and prepare the tender process and contract administration
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical and Mechanical, Building Services or relevant discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ project management experience, sound knowledge and proven experience in hotel project management is preferable
- Self-motivated, strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Good project management skill, strong leadership skill, excellent communication and presentation skills are essential
