Assistant Operations Manager - Front Office

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the daily operations of Front Office, and Security, and coordinate the operations of Housekeeping and Engineering as well
  • Guide the Operations Team to optimum the room occupancy and achieve the upselling budget maximizing the room revenue
  • Encourage guest recognition and ensure all guests are receiving prompt, consistent and cordial attention at all time
  • Receive and bid farewell all VIPs or Special Attention guest
  • Communicate with General Manager & Operations Manager on all daily operations key issues and provide pertinent business intelligence
  • Conscientiously develop and train subordinate to perform their functions with maximum productivity and efficiency
  • Attend guest or staff incident promptly, handle tactfully and resolve it according to hotel policies

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma holder or above in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of Hotel Rooms Division experience with at least 2 years’ experience as Assistant Department Head in Front Office Department
  • Outgoing with excellent guest service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with good planning and organizational skills
  • Creative, productive and result-oriented with good leadership as well as analytical skill
  • Good in time management and sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Opera (PMS)
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
