Assistant/ Event Manager

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manages events and integrates teams to successfully carry out the event
• Coordinates with customer the details of an event, effectively up-sells throughout event transaction and follow up with customer post-event
• Liaison between field sales person and customer through the event sales process. 
• Makes presence known to customer during the event, and be available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements

Requirements

• University graduate with a minimum of 5 years related hotel experience in Event Management
• Effective sales skills to up-sell products and services
• Knowledge of group & catering cost forecasting, menu planning, food presentation, and banquet & event service operations
• Strong customer development and relationship management skills
• Excellent communication in both written and spoken English & Putonghua
• Good presentation, inter-personal and time-management skills
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Event Manager
