We are looking for a Chief Steward based at Kerry Hotel Hong Kong!
As a Chief Steward, we rely on you to:
- Responsible for implementing and controlling all procedures which will ensure that proper safety, hygiene and fire safety standards are maintained
- Administrate crockery, glassware and chinaware budget together with outlets
- Monitor activity of cleaning in all kitchens and F&B outlets
- Maintain adequate stock levels using an agreed per stock system
- Monitor activity of night cleaning contractor
- Monitor activity of pest control contractor
- As the hotel point of contact in dealing with chemical supplier
- Provide training for the colleagues and to ensure that they will obtain the highest standards of quality and productivity
- Direct and schedule staff roster according to events, festive days and periods to ensure adequate staff is on duty to provide efficient and quality service
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in similar position a sizeable luxury hotel
- Proven track records and experience in managing the operations of Stewarding
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety of workplace in compliance with the HACCP and the standards of the Hotel
- Well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- With sound leadership and motivation skills
- Good command of English and Cantonese
