Laboratory Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all initial specimen preparation and responsible for specimen receipt and distribution
• Pack and Distribute laboratory consumables to collection centres
• Manage storage and disposal of processed specimens
• Responsible for patient registration, specimen collection and all related administration duties
• Responsible for results entry and report typing
• Responsible for scheduling send out specimens to reference/ other laboratories
• Handle general phone enquiries and  general clerical duties
• Perform other laboratory duties assigned and assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High Diploma or above with related science discipline
• Shift duty is required (no overnight shift)
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
• Good telephone manner
• Relevant experience in laboratory is preferable
• Responsible and hardworking with good initiatives
