Commercial Manager (Sales Manager)**

Job duties:

  • Support Commercial Director in the development of yearly business plan for the hotel in related segments.
  • Drive business leads for the hotel in all revenue generating stream, maximizing revenue opportunities and exceeding the set targets.
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with existing and new customers to expand business share.
  • Execute business development initiatives, such as market research, sales blitz, telemarketing to identify new potential customers for the hotel.
  • Organize regular client events for the sales team to cultivate and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates within and outside the sales & marketing department.

Requirements:

  • Degree, diploma or equivalent professional hotel training is required;
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in hotel industry;
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing with extensive knowledge in hotel sales & marketing, revenue management and distribution;
  • Logical and analytical thinker;
  • High level of business acumen;
  • Passion for hospitality industry and developing travel / internet business;
  • Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Good command of spoken and written English as well as Mandarin.

**Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Commercial Manager
