Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all projects and partnerships related to Rosewood Hong Kong’s social impact and cultural engagement.
  • Strategize the hotel’s positioning in Hong Kong through partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, cultural institutions and purpose-driven businesses.
  • Own, develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders outlined above.
  • Lead project coordination and partnership management with support from relevant hotel departments.
  • Internalize ownership and mobilize colleagues at management and execution levels to meet impact goals and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate the development of targets and processes for internal and external project management.
  • Coordinate with the human resources and communications departments on storytelling for both internal associates and external stakeholder.
  • Make the value and benefits of social projects known and visible to associates through engagement to deepen their affiliation to the Rosewood brand.

 Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in CSR or related work in the private sector or public institutions
  • Proven track record in supervising and managing corporate or institutional projects with government bodies, NGOs and/or arts and culture institutions.
  • Proven success of breaking down high-level vision into clear action plans and following through the entire project execution process.
  • Strong leadership and engagement skills to develop effective and sustainable relationships with partnering organizations  
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills to optimize benefits of projects for corporate and brand advancement
  • Undergraduate or preferably post-graduate degree in related disciplines
  • Strong interest in the profits-with-purpose space.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages and adapt them to different internal and external audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience in change management.
  • Proficiency in both English and Cantonese required.
  • Experience in program/project design will be a plus.
