Job Overview

Responsible for prepare food for restaurant and catering events of Conference Lodge in Sai Kung.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist for opening preparation of kitchen and store, testing and commissioning of kitchen equipment.
  • Prepare food order for menu tasting and trial run.
  • Organize and prepare daily production orders of soups, sauces, vegetables, meats pastry products and cold products as per standard recipes.
  • Report Chef de Cuisine or Assistant Head Chef about replenishment of operating supplies and repair of equipment.
  • Coach junior team members or new joins about daily routine, standard operating procedures, guidelines on hygiene and food and work safety.

Requirements

  • Qualification and training in hospitality and culinary disciplines.
  • At least 5 years’ culinary experience in Chinese, Asian or Western cuisine.
  • Able to understand simple English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • A good team player and able to work under pressure.
