Executive Chef - Japanese outlets

To cater for our development, we are looking for a high caliber individual to join our company

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Back of the House daily operations of the 7 assigned Japanese outlets
  • Coordinate the selection, training, development and evaluation of employees and managers in the Kitchen
  • Monitor the food preparation procedure which meet with company SOP
  • Control labour and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making and inventory control
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Ensure that sanitation standards are in compliance to ensure cleanliness and kitchen organization
  • Communicate with all staff to ensure operational needs are met and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in management Japanese outlet
  • Excellent communication. Leadership and management skills
  • Independent with problem solving mind set
  • Experience in managing chain restaurants will be an advantage
  • Strong sense of responsibility to maintain the company’s standards of food quality
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
