Assistant / Quantity Surveyor (Foundation)

Job Description:

• Liaising with project team(s) to clarify the scope of works, construction method and requirements of each subletting package for uilding/civil/Interior/E&M/Foundation projects;
• Studying Main Contract to ensure the special requirements of Main Contract are captured in the tender document;
• Commenting/vetting the tender and sub-contract documents;
• Calling for the collection of tender and reminding return before the due date;
• Consolidating all queries arisen from the tenderer and passing on to Project Teams where appropriate;
• Attending tender interviews;
• Commenting/vetting tender analysis and highlighting errors, missing items, unreasonable rates and amount;
• Assisting in evaluating the location of risks so as to obtain the best prices;
• Assisting in negotiating with the potential tenderer to obtain the best prices and terms;
• Monitoring the subletting schedules from time to time and reporting any abnormality;
• Checking the latest budgets obtained from Project Teams to ensure correspondence with the subletting package;
• Attending the project team meetings as and when required;
• Drafting of letters and memorandum;

Requirements:

• Diploma in Surveying/Civil Engineering or equivalent level
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience of civil engineering
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD will be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Well organized, mature, good communication & interpersonal skills
• Less experience candidate will be considered for the position of Assistant Quantity Surveyor
• Experience in foundation field will be an advantage
